OUR REASON FOR BEING . . .

Mount Auburn United Methodist Church is here for one reason:

We are here for YOU !

We have a proud tradition in this community.  We have been here ministering to people through thick and thin for 179 years.

And we will still be here for a long time to come .  Being a vital part of a main-line denomination that has stood the test of time in this country for more than 200 years, we United Methodists offer a stability that proclaims not only an outstanding past but a solid future as well.

We offer dynamic leadership, opportunities for growth, a diversified program, and the facilities you deserve.  If you do not have a church home in this community, come grow with us.

OUR  MISSION

The purpose of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.  The primary tasks of Mount Auburn United Methodist Church are to invite people into a personal relationship with Christ, nurture them in the faith, and send them out into the world to live and serve as Christian disciples.  All this we do in the context of joyful and enthusiastic worship.

This is a photo  of our  large campus  that  includes  facilities
 that house a worshipping congregation, educational complex 
 for all ages,  a Day Care/Pre-School  program  serving nearly
  200 children  daily, Youth facilities  that are  a model to other 
congregations, parsonages, and five baseball fields that have
 produced three Indiana State Champion Little League Teams.
